Strangers
Searching for safety,
Crying for mercy and grace,
Do you hear them?
Motherless babies and orphans,
Their voices heard across the universe,
seeking refuge from violence.
Jesus weeps.
Crying for mercy and grace,
Do you hear him?
“Welcome the stranger”.
Love pours, unlimited amounts, feeding the hungry,
healing sickness,
holding the baby,
soothing her cries.
I am a stranger.
Pleading for mercy and grace,
